About St. Camillus College of Nursing Sciences, Uromi

St. Camillus College of Nursing Sciences, Uromi, is a fully licensed and accredited Catholic private institution dedicated to delivering excellence in Nursing education. Our programmes are regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) in collaboration with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Our Programmes

We currently run the following programmes:

ND in Nursing Sciences (4 years) — Requires JAMB. Leads to HND certification and professional certificates.
Basic Nursing (3 years) — No JAMB required. Leads to certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Midwifery (3 years) — No JAMB required. Leads to certification as a Registered Midwife (RM).
Post Basic Nursing (18 months) — No JAMB required. For trained professionals seeking specialization in Nursing.

Graduation Pathways

Students graduating from the ND in Nursing Sciences programme are awarded a National Diploma (ND) in Nursing Sciences, and are also certified as Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Midwives(RM).
Students from Basic Nursing and Basic Midwifery programmes are certified as Registered Nurses (RN) or Registered Midwives (RM) respectively.
Students from Post Basic Nursing and Post Basic Midwifery receive additional professional certifications in their specialized areas.
